MONTCLAIR BREWERY, MONTCLAIR NEW JERSEY

A husband and wife dual ownership, natives of Jamaica and West Africa had a dream of opening up a microbrewery. First of it’s kind in the township of Montclair New Jersey. An old furniture restoration store that we designed to have a clear open industrial space for maximum clear sight lines and a warm social gathering space for the customers. At the existing east facing solid masonry wall located off of the main commercial strip, a new storefront glass entrance was provided to bring in natural light and to introduce a new main entrance into the establishment.

The existing 3,327 square feet space was designed to include two new ADA compliant facilities, a brew house equipped with new stainless steel fermenter tanks, a tap room complete with a new service countertop backed with a cold room. A new hvac system to accommodate the cooling and heating load demands for the new space.

A new social gathering space to enjoy craft beer. Guaranteed to be a hit!
